Just a heads up ~ if you’re having a hard time locating the Voila products, do a search for “Rocking Rolls” or “Rockin Rolls”. This was the original name for the line, but it was Voila that made the cut! Sorry for the confusion ^_^

There’s a TON of new Prima up at 2Peas ~ check it out!

Brittany Laakkonen is using Voila Die Cut Ribbon (880118) and a Voila Artsy Accent (880323)

Voila Die Cut Ribbon (880088)

Sharon Laakkonen uses a Voila Artsy Accent (880323)

Trisha from Fire and Ice Designs is using 2 Voila Die Cut Art Strips (880118, 880446)

And finally, Amy Hutchinson is using one of my fav’s (880101) ~ LOVE the white-on-white!
Aren’t those just FABULOUS?! It’s so exciting to see all the creative ways the Prima Flower Girls are making use of the latest releases, and I’m totally itching for more! Have you been getting crafty with Voila? I’d love to check out your work ~ send links to your projects and you may get featured here at DYD ^_^ (ALL IMAGES COURTESY OF PRIMA’S BLOG)
So, a couple weeks back, the May issue of Creating Keepsakes started arriving at people’s houses, and shortly thereafter the emails started coming in about the Voila! ad on the inside back cover (if it weren’t for you guys ~ I wouldn’t have even known it was in there this month!). Then I called my my mom who FREAKED out and bought 3 copies to show everyone at work. T was in Utah at the time, oogling over it with the rest of his family, and all the while I’m sitting here in Montenegro absolutely DYING to paw see it IRL. OH the agony!
Well, my sweetie did return with a crisp copy in hand, along with an entire suitcase full of scrapbooking stuff (major brownie points there). Here it is!!

Check out that uber cool flourish-y border by Katie on the other page, they look so good side by side! Geez, this is the first US magazine I’ve flipped through in like 9 months … so much has changed in the world of scrapbooking; CK seems so much more hip than last time I picked one up. I dig it! Most of the time I feel like a complete alien over here, but I felt right at home with my nose buried in scrappy mags ^_^

YAY for happy places ~ it’s gonna be a good day!!
Hey guess what?! I’ve been chosen to sponsor (and judge) the “Best Hybrid Project” category for the Scrappers Choice Awards at DST! What a totally rad way to celebrate National Scrapbook Day! All you need to do is submit your best hybrid project by May 6th. I love their open approach, it can be ANY project from ANY site, so get movin’ people.
NOTE: I’m sponsoring the Best Hybrid Project in the “SUBMISSIONS” area, not nominations.
The winner of this category will receive a $25 gift certificate to Alt+Scrap ~ WoooOHoooO! That’s enough to buy like, one of everything
And just for giggles ~ here’s one of my favorite hybrid layouts *ever* ~ using PP and elements from my Harajuku kit…

GOOD LUCK and HAVE FUN EVERYONE!
